When maple syrup producer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack by greedy competitors who were once her friends, she concocts a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry. Loosely based on the theft of $18 million worth of maple syrup from 2011-2012. I was reluctant to watch this because of the lack of common sense in most TV shows today.
cheesy, funny, dramatic and engaging
But I’m glad I gave it a try. These are 30 minute episodes that are ridiculous. Likeable characters and light entertainment.
which fits perfectly into a half hour show
I watched all 6 episodes and am looking forward to season 2. A couple of cliffhangers to end the series on a good note. I highly recommend watching this and it’s a perfect length.

Any longer and it would have gone on. The French soundtrack is engaging as well. I’ll look it up on YouTube Music.
