Inspired by a real-life court case in Hong Kong, THE PROSECUTOR tells the story of a man who falsely pleaded guilty to drug trafficking after being framed. Despite the confession, the veteran police-turned-prosecutor (Donnie Yen) leading the case is convinced of the man’s innocence and conducts his own investigation, risking his career and life to bring the real criminal to justice.
